SPROCKET-DRIVE POWERTRAIN

For the 2022 Formula SAE competition, the subteam I led on MIT Motorsports created a sprocket-driven, hanging differential powertrain for the aft wheels on an electric racecar. Rated for 69 kW, and weighing only 19kg, we prioritized manufacturability and reliability while also maintaining competitive performance.
