FTC TEAM 8148

Competing in the 2017-2018 season of the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), I was the lead programmer for FTC Team 8148. That year, we developed a 5 degree of freedom robotic manipulator, with a 60-inch workspace and that could compress into an 18"x18"x18" cube. For this ambitious project, we implemented motion planning, PID controllers for the lower joints, and computer vision-based guidance for object acquisition. I also helped with the CAD, manufacturing, and assembly. We won multiple design awards for our innovative approach.
