LUNAR YO-YOS

In Design & Manufacturing II (2.008), students work in teams of 6 to design and manufacture custom Yo-Yos, using both injection-molded and thermoformed parts. We designed our own lunar-themed yo-yo as well as molds to manufacture the components. We then mass-produced 150 yo-yos using injection molding machines to experience the transition from prototype to small-scale production.
